The Art-Ropoda collection was created and inspired by arthropods – the stunning aesthetics and fascinating physical structure of these insects are what attracted me to engage in research of their functional structure.  Indeed, the three characteristics that guided me in the design of this jewelry series are: a segmented body, an exoskeleton and jointed appendages. Each piece of jewelry is composed of bronze and transparent plastic elements connected by rivets.  The metal is processed in a manner which creates a unique, colorful texture that is impossible to replicate.  All of these together result in a modern, harmonious look of natural mechanics.
